Our new website is live!
We wanted a site that put our services on display in an unambiguous fashion, tied them to the business problems they solve and was the sort of thing we would be happy to put in front of a client. We have done exactly that by building it as we do for all our other work: from strategy to delivery with none of the mystery or ornamentation.
The case for rebuilding to show our services as they are
A business will quietly outgrow its website. You add pages, the services change, the wording drifts and soon enough the site is better at describing what you did in the past than what you are doing today.
We set out to put right the very problem, as a tech specialist everything from strategy and systems to digital growth and AI. What we do is usually prompted by a commercial or operational issue of some kind. Be it manual processes that should not be so, systems that fail to talk to one another, or revenue that is there but stymied by process or a lack of clear ownership. Our new site has to make those things plain in a matter of minutes, not after three rounds of meetings.
There is sound industry thinking to back this up. The stronger agency and studio sites tend to be ones where content is mapped to actual customer journeys and services are put in practical terms. They are treated as a product for ongoing improvement rather than a single design exercise . It is close to how we handle delivery already so we saw no reason not to do the same for ourselves.
A look at the new site and its structure
We have left the structure simple. No one goes to a digital site for a scavenger hunt. We present them as ways to get to an outcome, not a menu of the latest jargon.
- With AI Consultancy and Strategy we determine where AI can be of use and where it cannot.
- Business Automation puts an end to repetitive manual work and makes ownership a given.
- Web Builds and Digital Platforms is about systems that can be used, not just good looking pages.
- SEO and AI Search Visibility is for making sure the right customers can find and understand you.
- CRM, Data and Sales Enablement ties marketing and sales to actual pipeline movement.
- Custom AI Tools and Applications are made to fit your process, not tacked on.
- AI Agents and Assistants are for tasks that call for speed and consistency.
The site itself is meant to be a demonstration of our standards. Nothing theatrical about it, just the important details: information architecture that is clear, copy in plain English and service descriptions that do not need a technical person in the room to interpret.
Those in the know will appreciate the logic. A studio site should be evidence of judgement, not merely a claim of it (Laarpi (external site)). We hold to that view whether the business is design or delivery led.
Artistic freedom with a side of accountability
This was the fun part of the job!
Constraints are part of client work: the timelines, the politics, the risk profile and the fixed definition of what is done. In building our own site we had the space to test tone and layout and to discard anything that was clever but of no real use.
It is a small compromise to be able to have a bold idea on Tuesday, put it aside by Wednesday and have it gone by Thursday without the need for a committee paper. That kind of freedom sharpens the decision-making.
It is also a matter of being honest. We would not tell a business to keep iterating and improving then consider our own platform sacrosanct once it is up and running. As many teams will say when they put out a new site, it is better as a means of publishing and refining over time than a finished piece of work.
The result is a public account of what we do and how we go from problem to delivery that is much clearer. We will not be putting out figures on conversion or lead volume from this launch yet; it is too early and the baseline period is still running. We only put forward results we can back up.
For the customer in need of some practical support
The value here is simple. It gets you to the conversation quicker.
If you are an SME with disconnected systems or admin that is more repetitive than it needs to be, you can now see where your problem lies and what a sensible engagement would entail. "Better" is defined in operational terms.
We have put into practice on our own turf what we do for any client: identify the problem, design for how it is used and leave you with something easier to run than before. It is satisfying to publish a site we like using as well.
